Would you like to help?
We are heavily reliant on our team of loyal and dedicated volunteers to support many aspects of our work.
Donis and kittensCattery Assistants:
If, like us, you are crazy about cats and want to work alongside our cattery staff you could become part of a unique team committed to provide the best quality care we can. Our volunteer cattery assistants generally help out in the mornings from 8.00am-8.30am for approximately 2-3 hours. The duties consist of cleaning each cat's individual accommodation both inside and out, general cleaning of the cattery block lots of essential TLC including grooming and playing.
We have our very own Aladdins Cave at our Centre which is a very well stocked Charity shop selling new and second-hand goods such as clothes, toys, books, dvds, cds, jewelry, crockery and many other household goods. Our shop is open 10am until 2.30pm 7 days a week.
Donated goods sorting:
Elmwood Farm HouseWe are fortunate to receive goods for our shop donated each week by the public. Our team of sorters meet each Tuesday and Wednesday for a few hours to help divide these goods for sale in our shop, mini-market sales and other fundraising events.
Gardening and DIY:
Do you have green fingers or good DIY skills? If so, you may wish to help around our centre a few hours each week.
Julie Pritchard TableWe have many fun and exciting events throughout the year both at our centre and around the county. You may wish to bake home-made refreshments such as cakes or help to man a stall or even help with event organisation.
