We are a community based wetland conservation management project seeking international volunteers to promote conservation awareness and teach environmental education in local high schools and communities. We are implementing a community based Jagadishpur Ramsar Site Conservation Project in partnership with Jagadishpur Reservoir Management Multistakeholder Forum (JRMMSF).

Banganga Irrigation Management Division (sole owner of reservoir and irrigation system and its infrastructure) and District Forest Office (management entity of Ramsar site) support this project from the government site. Mr. Kamal Thapa, protected areas and environmental expert is leading the implementation of this project and act as a focal person for international volunteers.

Volunteering is free and opportunity for accommodation can be avail and also the teaching materials can be provided. Besides volunteering, several outdoor opportunities, cultural tours, archaeology exploration, homestyas, birdwatching and more can be obtained during the placement.
