We specialise in recruiting enthusiastic individuals to help coach sport; we also present people with the chance to teach subjects such as English in township schools across the gorgeous Eastern Cape shores of South Africa and last, but certainly not least, a program for those who want to help get involved with animal conservation; namely working with and coming face-to-face with the ‘Big Five’, including African Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, Lions and Leopards!

Programs:

Camp South Africa has three amazing programs including sports coaching, animal conservation and teaching English.

 

Sports Coaching:

Our sports coaching project is our most popular program at Camp South Africa, but you do not need to be an expert -  far from it! If you have a passion and simply want to help, then that’s all is needed from you. As Nelson Mandela said ‘Sport has the power to change the world… Sport can create hope’, and this message has inspired Camp South Africa. The children in South Africa’s townships do not get the opportunity to play sport within their school day due to low funding and resources, and this is where you come in!

Animal Conservation:

Are you studying animal conservation? Looking to extend your Camp South Africa experience? Or do you just really want to do your bit in helping to care for some of the most incredible animals on the planet?

Teaching English

Our Teaching project can be done alongside a sports coaching project, or by itself. Again you don’t need any previous experience! Many of our sports coaches choose to teach 1-2 days a week and coach the others. However, for those wanting to make a difference in the South African townships, but not interested in sports, this is the perfect way to do so!
