I went on the Vietnam Express Southbound tour with Intrepid and loved every minute of it. Our guide was a local and he gave us really valuable insights into the culture and customs of the country. The group size was perfect and we were all solo travellers so we bonded really well. Ha Long Bay was one of the highlights for me, but the entire trip was beautiful!
I booked a 4 week overland tour with Intrepid of SE-Asia starting in Bangkok, traveling through Cambodia and then finishing in Hanoi in Northern Vietnam. I really liked the tour and the price was competitive compared to similar companies. We had a mixed group in terms of nationalities and ages and everyone enjoyed the experience.
