Thailand Teaching Volunteers

General Info

The increase in tourism in Thailand has made English a valuable skill. Volunteering as a teacher in Surin will give the Thai children in your classes the opportunity to learn English with a native speaker and give them a better chance of gaining good employment.

You will be volunteering on the project from Monday to Thursday, this will mean that you will have a long weekend free to explore Surin or set off further to see more of Thailand! Whilst you are at the project the local coordinators will be there to help you plan lessons and organise your schedule, then it’s up to you to test out your teaching skills and focus on giving the children a decent education.

Requirements:

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
