Days 1-7
Start your journey through Southern Africa with camping in Kruger National Park. In the heart of the most famous wildlife spot in South Africa you’ll have the chance to spot Africa’s big game animals including lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard and wild dog, as well as learning about the park and its inhabitants on guided game drives and bush walks.
Day 8-20 Community projects, Ezulwini, Swaziland
Travel on to Swaziland where you will gain an insight into Swazi culture, lifestyle and traditional dancing on a visit to the Mantenga Cultural Village, and help out with a community volunteer initiative.
You will spend two weeks working with orphans and children affected by the AIDS pandemic in local care centres. The youngsters are aged between 3 and 13 years old and your help is needed in a variety of areas such as building, running sports days, teaching the children and assisting on medical projects.
Volunteers who choose to stay at the project for 4 weeks will be able to take part in the following project work:
• Organising sports days
• Organising creative games and craft classes and practical projects
• Giving the youngsters attention and kindness
• Planting a range of crops that can improve the children’s nutrition
Volunteers who choose to stay at the project for 6 weeks will be able to take part in the following project work:
• Teaching basic English and Maths
• Arranging stimulating, creative games and craft classes
• Arranging sports days
• Looking after the children at meal times and in the mornings before classes
Day 21-28 Marine conservation tour, Tofo Beach, Mozambique
Take some time out and relax on the amazing tropical ocean beaches of Mozambique for your final week. You will be staying in a laid-back beach village on the Inhambane Peninsula, a marine paradise where you can swim with Whale Sharks, check coral reefs and sport turtles.
Additional options include going on a unique ocean safari and an ocean kayak expedition, if you have a dive certificate you can also explore the deep blue. Those staying for 4 weeks will be off home at the end of this week while those staying got 6 weeks will return to help with more volunteer work at Ezulwini.

Requirements:
There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
