Cambodia Childcare Volunteers near Angkor Wat

Make a difference to underprivileged children in Siem Reap, get involved with everything from teaching English to singing songs with the little ones and take in the breathtaking beauty of the nearby Angkor Wat.

General Info

You will be working with the children from Monday to Friday 8am-11am and 2pm-5pm. Your main focus at the project will be teaching a range of subjects from English and music to sports in a small school near a pagoda (temple). Your activities will vary from day but will usually include the following:

• Arranging lesson plans
• Teaching English
• Teaching the children songs
• Teaching sports skills
• Teaching art lessons
• Playing with the children
• Creating new activities for the children
• Encouraging personal hygiene
• Helping with administration of the project
• Teaching farming skills

Your weekends will be yours to explore and transportation can be arranged to the incredible Angkor Temples.

Requirements:

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
