We are in the centre of a region known as the Broadland National Park, named after the many broads (or lakes) in the valley of the rivers Bure, Thrune and Ant. Many sporting activities such as windsurfing, sailing and fishing are available nearby.

Jobs

We have jobs available all through the year, the dates above are only approximate and in some years these may vary by 2-3 weeks. Due to the nature of the work available there are no set or standard hours of work. You will not be guaranteed a minimum number of hours each week and in a particular week you may receive no work at all from the employer.

For manual harvesting work (fruit picking) you do not need to have experience, but you should understand that this is physically demanding work and involves bending and lifting. You will be expected to pick to targets to maintain your employment. We would advise you not to apply if you have recently suffered an accident or sporting injury resulting in weakness of your limbs, as you will be required to carry loads of over 10 kg for up to 200 meters.

Most of our participants have a very rewarding experience, enjoy the hard work and the money they earn, whilst meeting and making new friends from different countries.
