Day 1 – 7
Kick off your trip exploring the vibrant Tanzanian capital city, Dar es Salaam before catching a glimpse of some amazing wildlife on a game drive at the Selous Game Reserve, home of the largest herd of elephants in Tanzania as well as elephants, hippos, monkeys, crocodiles and lions! Round off your week on the sand enjoying the beaches and beautiful coral islands just off the coast of Dar es Salaam.
Day 8 – 14
Time to head to Moshi; a lovely relaxed town located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, where you will spend the week working with young children on a fantastic volunteering project. Working with youngsters around the town, your role will be to make learning fun so a knack for being creative singing songs or playing sports will certainly make you popular in the local community!
Day 15 – 18
An adventure packed few days; spend a night in a real Masai village where you’ll be sleeping in a mud hut on a cow skin bed you’ll get a unique insight into traditional Masai traditions. Head on to the N’Gorongoro crater, not just an amazing landscape but also one of the world's best places to spot rhino, leopards and cheetahs, lions, antelopes, gazelles and flamingos. Then it’s time to unleash your inner adventurer and get your walking boots ready to trek around the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro itself!
Day 18 – 28
You’ll spend the remainder of your trip taking in the best of Zanzibar! Immerse yourself in African history on a tour of Stone Town, tickle your taste buds with trip to the spice market, visit Dolphin Bay to see if you can spot a few of these fascinating creatures finish off your Tanzanian adventure with a few days relaxing on the world famous beaches!
