Help underprivileged children in Goa, India

General Info

You will be able to make a valuable contribution to an underprivileged Goan community by working at two volunteer projects; assisting children of the lower and upper kindergarten classes in their daily school activities and helping out at a home for the children of migrant workers who cannot look after their children after school.

As a volunteer you will be working from 8.30am to 11.30 with the school children teaching a range of basic skills including alphabets, numbers, crafts as well as singing songs and reading stories. There will be time for some preparation for the next day’s activities before heading onto the after school centre. Between 2pm and 4pm you will be supporting children, helping with homework and getting creative as you can with education, try your hand at drawing, arts and craft, playing games and getting involved with sports!
