We visit one of the oldest monuments of them all, Stonehenge, the UK’s most famous and mysterious stone circle. Its then onto Salisbury where you have a chance to explore the magnificent medieval cathedral and home to the original copy of Magna Carta. Glastonbury where the legendary King is said to be buried before heading south to Exeter and our overnight destination for the evening.

We explore the wilds of Dartmoor and Bodmin National Parks. First, its Canonteign Falls, England’s highest waterfall, and then Clapper Bridge where we can lookout for Dartmoor Ponies. Go for a walk and perhaps climb one of the many ‘tors’ before making our way into Cornwall. We then head to Newquay, the UK’s surf capital and our base for two nights. This is your chance to learn how to ride the waves!

Day 3: Cornwall
Today is spent in Cornwall travelling around mysterious standing stones, walking the scenic coast, viewing St Michael’s Mount. We visit the amazing Minack Theatre perched on the cliffs and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and stop at the most westerly tip of England, Land’s End. We then journey along the Atlantic Highway to St Ives. Back to Newquay for a night out to remember!

Day 4: Newquay to Bath
Leave the sand and surf behind for a visit to Tintagel Castle, the birthplace of King Arthur. We then travel east through Devon and Somerset to the beautiful coastal town of Boscastle. We then head to our overnight destination of Bath, the historic and beautiful Georgian city.

Day 5: Bath to London
Spend the morning visiting the Roman Baths, the original thermal spas and wander around admiring some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the UK.
