Wildlife Conservation Volunteer
Are you looking for an exciting adventure in the heart of Africa? Live with a Maasai Community, Learn to track wildlife and see the Big Five!!
The first week of your African adventure begins with lessons from a Maasai warrior, teaching you about the language and historic culture. You will then head from Arusha, into the African bush to the Maasai village where you will be based.
Volunteers undertake vital conservation work on behalf of the African Wildlife Foundation, in an area often referred to as the Mini Serengeti due to its high abundance of wildlife. You will also assist with a cultural awareness program with the Maasai, teaching in their schools and learning from their warriors.
You will finish with a stay on the beautiful island of Zanzibar; chilling out on the beach and enjoying some snorkleling the warm waters.
