This sanctuary takes in injured and unwanted animals.

Future plans for the sanctuary include opening a visitor?s centre which will be aimed at teaching children how to look after their pets. The Centre is spread over 16 acres; Sue (the owner) and her family hope to turn a wooded area and a valley into a conservation area. Already under way are a new dog run and 2 new stables.

Located in a lovely rural area the centre has Deer (the only ones in the Channel Islands), Guinea Pigs, Pot Bellied Pigs, Dogs, Cats, Horses, Goats, Donkeys, Tortoises, Birds, Ferrets and Chipmunks. The centre also takes in injured animals nursing them back to full health before releasing them back into the wild.

The sanctuary tries to re-home most of its animals however, some of the centre?s animals are permanent residents and have become firm favourites with the staff. These residents include:- 2 donkeys named Blackberry and Bramble, 2 miniature Shetland Ponies named Huckleberry and Finnegan, 3 Pot Bellied Pigs named Lizzie, Jack and Dougal, and a New Forest Pony named Merlin to mention but a few.
