Company : G Adventures
Duration: < 1 week to 1 week
Approx Costs: 250 to 500 £ Pound (UK)
Head out from scenic seaside Cairns toward the tropical Daintree Rainforest without missing a fun-filled beat ziplining, swimming in waterfalls at the Atherton Tablelands, and climbing (the unfortunately and inaccurately named) Mount Sorrow.
Also, take an unforgettable interpretive walk at the otherworldly Mossman Gorge to learn more about Aboriginal history, culture, and contemporary life straight from the people themselves. The dream is real and it’s just waiting for you to join it.
Day 1 Cairns/Cape Tribulation
Depart early from Cairns, then head north. Learn about the flora and fauna with local Aboriginals, before exploring Daintree National Park.
Day 2 Cape Tribulation/Yungaburra
Enjoy a free morning to further explore the rainforest or chill out poolside. Head towards Yungaburra in the Atherton Tablelands for the night, and enjoy additional free time to explore the area.
Day 3 Yungaburra/Cairns
Stop at Lake Eacham, a volcanic crater lake, before continuing on to visit some of the waterfalls in the Atherton Tablelands, including Josephine Falls and the famous Millaa Millaa Falls. Later, go for a swim in the waters of Babinda Boulders before travelling back to Cairns where the tour ends upon arrival.
