Cuba Cycling Tour

See a different side to Cuba by joining this overland cycle tour where you will explore cities like Havana, see the beautiful countryside and also visit some of the best beaches in the country.

Cuba is an iconic country to visit, there is history and tradition around every corner and during this trip you will really get a feel of the culture and rhythm of the country. There will be lots of stop off so you can visit places like tobacco factories, museums or relax on beautiful white sandy beaches.  

This tour starts in Havana and you will then journey to see more of the country. You will need a good level of fitness to join this tour but you do not need to be a pro or experienced bike rider. Most cycle tours have an average of 10 people on them with a maximum number of 12 allowed on each trip.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 Havana
Start.

Day 2 Pinar del Río + Viñales
City tour with visit to tobacco factory and afternoon bike ride.

Day 3 Cayo Jutías + Viñales
Cycle approximately 50 km and visit Cayo Jutías.

Day 4 La Palma
Cycle the Jagua Vieja road to La Palma, approximately 28 km, returning to the Viñales Valley in the evening.

Day 5 Cueva de los Portales + Las Terrazas
Visit historic Cueva de los Portales before a long bike ride and dinner at a local farmhouse.

Day 6 Las Terrazas + Soroa
Bike around Las Terrazas in the morning, then cycle to Soroa.

Day 7 Havana
Walking tour of old and modern Havana including a visit to the rum museum.

Day 8 Havana
Finish.
