Thrillseekers will love hiking the mountains surrounding Santiago, biking between Argentina’s wineries and exploring the mountains of Tucumán on foot. For pleasure-seekers, the big cities promise boundless fun in some of the world’s most dynamic urban settings. The itinerary is always fast-paced and filled with optional activities, but don’t sweat it; there’s always time for a breather and a tall glass of malbec.
Day 1 Santiago
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Aguas de Ramon
Full-day guided hike in Aguas de Ramon, with views of the city and the Andes. Return to the city for the evening.
Day 3 Mendoza
Cross the Andes by bus into Argentina and arrive at Mendoza, in the heart of the wine growing region.
Days 4-5 Mendoza
Transfer by van to the winery region outside of Mendoza for a full-day bicycle tour of wineries, including a traditional Argentine lunch. Free day on Day 5 for further optional winery tours or active options outside of the city like horseback riding, rafting (seasonal) or exploring the city on foot.
Day 6 Tucumán
Arrive by overnight bus to Tucumán. Free time for an optional city tour or individual exploration.
Day 7 Tucumán
Included full-day guided hike through the forests and mountains of Tucumán to appreciate the views and the Yungas before returning to the city.
Days 8-9 Salta
Travel to Salta by public bus. Free time for optional horseback riding, rafting (seasonal) or exploring the city's cultural and culinary delights on foot.
Day 10 Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires. Optional city tour or time for individual exploration. Optional tango show and dinner.
Day 11 Buenos Aires
Depart at any time.
