Paid Position - Teaching & Community Project Coordinator in Madagascar. 6months - 1 Year. You will need to be able to speak fluent English and French.
The Officer would be responsible for taking managing and developing the Frontier Teaching & Community Projects and associated extension projects such as workshops, holiday programmes and childcare. The Officer will offer a valuable service to the local community within which they are working by providing essential skills such as teaching English and other subjects, and managing volunteer placements within the community in line with Frontier’s structured outreach programme.

Accommodation: Basic accommodation provided
Travel: Capped contribution towards an international airfare provided plus internal travel as necessary to the fulfilment of duties.
Insurance: Employer’s liability insurance provided.
Subsistence: Food provided on project site. Subsistence allowance provided for time spent off project site.
Salary: £150 - £200 (per quarter) depending on experience and qualifications. Plus £150 end of contract bonus.
Training: BTEC assessor training & pre-departure training provided.
ESSENTIAL:
- Fluent French
- Educated to degree level
- First Aid qualification
- Experience teaching or working on community projects
- Experience working with and supporting volunteers
