Volunteer dentists are in high demand on many islands where equipment is in place but no funding is available to employ dental specialists. On this project you can use your dentistry skills to provide local islands with easy access to healthcare and help make smaller islands self sufficient and preserve their way of life for future generations.

Gain valuable work experience at the island hospital whilst enjoying laid back island life. Your work will be dependant on your own skills and experience as well as the needs of the hospital at the time of your visit. But you may have the opportunity to get involved in a range of procedures and community health promotion initiatives. Dental volunteers are usually required to work six days a week normally having Fridays free.
