If you're over 18 years old and you are exploring international volunteer service, considering a gap year abroad or looking for a break from your job, reach out to others as an EIL Volunteer.
Your community service project could be working with rural development, volunteering in a health clinic, working with children, teaching English, an environmental project - the volunteer opportunities are endless!
Most programmes include language training, where appropriate, and homestays with families - the best way to meet people and learn about local culture. EIL's partner will place you with a community service project where your work will make a lasting contribution. They can have different durations according to their country of destination.
