Ecoteer is totally different to other volunteering agencies infact it may sound too good

Ecoteer is a directory of cheap low cost volunteering projects some of our projects even offer free food and board! Search our database and you can find placements in all sorts of fields - conservation, ecotourism, teaching or humanitarian.

For example, you could join our turtle conservation project in Costa Rica, teach English in Mongolia or promote AIDS/HIV awareness in Uganda.

The costs you pay usually covers your food and accommodation and some projects ask for a one-off donation to help develop the program.

For example, at our turtle project in Costa Rica you pay just GBP10 per day!! So for a
two week program you pay GBP140 plus the GBP10 ecoteer membership and your transport costs!

No one knows a project as well as the project leader themselves and with Ecoteer you can contact the project leader directly meaning you get the latest most upto date

Becoming an Ecoteer member costs cost £10 then you have access to our volunteering database and can contact the placments direct.

The cost for each placement is different most of the projects you pay for food and accommodation plus a donation to the program.

We do have a few more expensive projects for instance the Great Orangutan Project, we 100% endorse these because they donate 25% of your fee directly to the orangutans for food and care.
