The Trudi Birger Dental Clinics Dental Volunteers for Israel program operates a free dental clinic in Jerusalem for disadvantaged children and youth-at-risk aged 5-18.

Volunteer dentists from all corners of the world

Free dental care to Jerusalem's indigent children, regardless of race or religion. The only clinic providing totally free oral health care and education, from age 5 to 18, over 15,000 treatments anually. Founded in 1980, the longest running clinic of its kind in Israel

Volnteering at DVI's Trudi Birger Dental Clinic is a unique and rewarding experience. During your time at DVI, you are awarded the opportunity to:

* Help the underprivileged children of Jerusalem at the same time as having a holiday
* Meet and work with professional dentists from around the world.
* Experience ‘real’ Israel by living in one of our local apartments

Licensed dentists can volunteer for periods of 1-4 weeks under a special permit from the Health Ministry. For the duration of the volunteer period, the dentist and family is offered one of our apartments in Jerusalem.
