Since 1986 when the UK Charity CORD began working with disabled and abandoned children, CCD has now grown and works with over 400 ‘differently-abled’ children and their families across 4 provinces

in Thailand. CCD currently has over 50 Thai staff and 10 international volunteers.

Prime Objectives

To provide care and support to children and young adults in professional learning and development environments, and love and compassion to the children and young adults with disabilities living in the government institutions

Volunteering

You can volunteer: CCD welcomes international and local volunteers (both professional and non-professional) to work with disabled children alongside CCD staff.

CCD accepts both professional and non-professional volunteers. There is normally a minimum age requirement of 18 but a person should be in good health, willing to adapt to a different culture and self-motivated. CCD is always interested in having professionally qualified therapists, medical staff and others, either living in Bangkok or from overseas, who are willing to donate their time and experience.

Professionals will have the opportunity to work alongside Thai professionals (eg physical therapists, etc) to help disabled orphans in Thailand.
