Working as a special needs counsellor can be a challenging and very rewarding job. You may work with children and adults with a variety of disabilities so this role can vary greatly. A very important job at camp, special needs counsellors ensure people get to their activities and participate. Special needs counsellors also help resolve any issues that may arise during the day. You will travel to each activity period, participating and helping to run the activity if necessary.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.
