Blackwell Adventure is a charity based in between Birmingham and Worcester and set in 52 acres of countryside. We deliver outdoor activities to Schools, Colleges, Scouts and Guides and some Coroporate customers. We have various ways of staying from traditional camping, through to podded villages all the way through to our Manor House.
We solely operate to give young people an experience of being in the outdoors whether it being just coming on to the site and enjoy being outside to trying some of our fantastic activites such as Zip Wires, Giant Swing, High ropes courses, Archery, Kayaking and Canoeing.
We also operate a smaller centre about a 5 minute drive away called Pikes Pool which also boasts lots of outdoor activities.
Lots of our school groups stay with us on residential trips which range from an overnight stay upto a whole week.
We now operate 12 months a year and have a very firm customer base who believe in what we are trying to achieve in giving young people a way to express themselves and try new challenges.
We have had lots of volunteers over the years who have made a difference to the childrens lives they have worked with as well as changing their own perspective on life and wher they are heading. We look after all our volunteers who come to us by housing them on the centre, offering on site catering facilities as well as providing a small bursary to help them live whilst they are with us.
Some of our volunteers over the years have said that this was a life changing experience and have come back following years and still remain part of the Blackwell family.
