Ubuntu is an African Philosophy - it is an expression of community, and an appreciation for those around us. Bhejane Nature Training takes this concept furhter to include the natural environement around us as well.

Ubunty Wild, is a range of alternative wildlife tourism programmes that will introduce you to various aspecst of African Wilderness. Learn how to conduct a game drive like a Safari Guide, develop an understanding of community based conservation and experience the special qualities of Zululand and Maputaland, in an authentic and unique way.

This programme is ideal for anyone interested in investigating nature guiding as a career. It provides a good foundation and some essential skills and knowledge, to serve as a basis for furhter volunteer work on conservation projects in South Africa. It is also great for anyone that is simply interested in having a life-changing experience in true African Wilderness.

Our camp is sitauted in rural Maputaland, sandwiched between the Tembe Elephant Park and Ndumo Game Reserve. The camp is owned and run by the local Tembe community, and interaction wiht the local cultures, is a integral part of the programme.
