We started to operate the Be a Local Tours in January 2003, with the idea of showing tourists, a local viewpoint of our city - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

After all this time, we designed our tours thinking about the local support, safety and maximum amount of information we could provide to enable tourists to really experience what it means be a Carioca.

A life experience made even better

This review is a long time coming. Leandro from Be Local Tours thank you. My mother's life dream to see Christ The Redeemer , finally getting to see it at 74 years old. The best thing for our experience was Leandro, making sure mom was taken good care of. This for her felt like first class all day. We saw the sites with Be Local Tours and there is nothing to be negative about. Being from Cape Town we understand heavy traffic and long lines. A little humur from Leandro kept all informed and fresh on a usual hot Rio day.

Thank you and I do plan to return with my family.
