Atma is an NGO based in Mumbai, India. We work to address the issue of quality education for underprivileged children and young adults through a unique consultancy model.

Founded as a trust in 2007, we partner with numerous NGOs with unique education interventions who serve the underprivileged in their communities around Mumbai urban areas.

Atma works hand in hand with these innovative education NGOs to address their capacity needs through the Atma Model of intervention. The Atma Model is a three-year relationship-based intervention which helps organisations move beyond their day-to-day resource constraints.

The Atma Volunteer Consultant Program is a personal and professional development opportunity. Consultants are professionals in their field, bringing several years of professional work experience to Atma and our partners.

The consultant’s skill will fit exactly with the needs of our partner organizations so that the consultant gets quality professional experience while the partner gets the assistance it needs.
