Another Hope Childrens Ministries

We are an official registered non-governmental organization in Uganda.

AHCM was established as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in October 2005 and officially registered as a CBO in 2006 later in 2009 AHCM was registered as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO).

We are committed to meeting the spiritual and physical needs of vulnerable children in Uganda through strategic partnership ministering and undertaking specialized and sustainable child focused initiatives.

Our children are provided with accommodation, food, clothing, health care and educational opportunities (both vocational and formal school training), and also receive instruction in morals, manners and how to live in our society. The love and care we provide changes the children’s stories from one hopelessness to hopefulness and gives them the tools they need to not only envision a different future, but to live it.

Although we are a “Christian home” we provide support to children from all backgrounds and religions. It is estimated at least 20% of the children in Uganda are orphaned and the Wakiso area reflects this statistic. Currently of the 152 children we support some stay with their parents / guardians while others live permanently on the site. Our aim is to expand support for additional vulnerable children throughout the community. We may not be able to help all, but we certainly can make a difference in these children’s lives and invite you to help us by

Another Hope Childrens Ministries Reviews

Our experience with the Another Hope Children's Ministries (AHCM)

We had the honor to stay three wonderful weeks in the children's home from Another Hope Children's Ministries (AHCM). After a very long journey, the very helpful and nice couple and also leader from AHCM, Daniel and Ruth, picked us up and brought us the children's home. This home is located at a very nice place - surrounded by green forests and nice people.

During the days, we learned a lot about the children, the children's home, the organization and also about ourselves. The thankfulness of people in Uganda and as well of the children and employees is overwhelming. Despite the tragic stories from the childrens, they were always happy and cheerful. Thanks God for this! The children's home, the meals, the ressources and the supply are very great and versatile. The children get a lot of offerings and positiv influence.

What have we done in the three weeks? Mainly we were present. We played with the kids and could get to know to them. We also had the oppertunity to take share at the daily evening prayers and lead them. There were nice sunday services with worship, prayer and preaching. Trips to a community kid and as well to a community church were accomplished. We took a trip to the Lake Victoria and also did some trekking to mountains near by.

It was a very blessed time. Full of experiences and friendships. We are so thankful for the blessing we received.
