Help in an Orphanage in Jaipur, India

Volunteer in an orphanage in India for the kids of HIV/AIDS affected parents, abandoned and rescued kids orphanage.

As a developing country there are many challenges and one of the major issues is considering girls as a liability and it leads to female-foeticide, increasing number of abandoning baby girls on streets or orphanages.

In Jaipur city we are working on three different orphanage projects and all of them have more number of girls because of the reason stated above. The orphanages are suffering with less funds and supports by the government and local people.

We need help of volunteers to join as a helping hand in operating the daily activities in orphanage. The number of kids vary from 29-58 and having both girls and boys. The age varies from 03-18 years and all the children are school going.

Volunteers have to play a very important role on this project because the children are far from understanding the structure of family and relatives. You would be their family and friends and you have to support them by educating and empowering them.

The suggested tasks for the volunteers are like teaching the subject like English, Math, Science, Geography, cleaning the orphanage, helping the kids in making beds, support the staff in maintain the records, preparation in food, fun activities to make them feel important and loveable. If you are able to fill the gap of real parents and siblings, come and experience the love and spark in their eyes in return.

Requirements

18 years or more
In case minor, we need a consent letter from parents
Fee deposits before coming to the project
Flights, visa, insurance, vaccinations are on volunteer
Provide us the flight details and a contact contact number like whatsapp/Line/Imo etc.
Follow the project guidelines and dress code
