French + University Preparation Course, Montpellier

This programme is dedicated to students who will join a university or a course of higher education in France and includes 26 lessons of French per week.

For these lessons, you will join a small group of students with the same objective (two students maximum).

Timetable:

• Standard course: 9:00 am - 12:15 pm (Mondays: 10:00 am - 1:15 pm) or 4:00 pm - 7:15 pm
• University Preparation Course: will be scheduled in the afternoon, schedule available upon commencement

Aims

• Help students learn more about the French education system (structure, administration, etc.)
• Master the approach used for French university projects (essays, compositions, summaries, etc.)
• Improve general knowledge (French culture, economy, history, politics, etc.)

Teaching methods:

• Audio and video media used in class
• Various types of documents to practice vocabulary in context, such as authentic conversation recordings
• Lessons are prepared according to the CEFR and all four skills are worked on each day: listening, reading, speaking and writing

Monitoring:

• Our pedagogical team are available to answer any questions
• Tutoring available at the resource centre so you can ask a professor questions after class
• Weekly assessments to monitor each student’s progress

Certification:

• Course certificate issued at the end of the programme.
