These children are mostly the sons and daughters of the market vendors, the children at this public school start at the age of 3 in pre-kindergarten and progress to 6th grade. The children are provided a safe haven from the streets, and a chance at education. The school is based on a formal education schedule during the morning and extra curriculum activities during the afternoon. Spanish speaking volunteers needed to teach English lessons, and encourage writing, reading and comprehension skills at the young age.
