1. Santa Monica, California
With weather being constantly pleasant in California, Santa Monica Beach is the perfect place to visit. Santa Monica beach is pretty large measuring at 3.5 miles in length it is an iconic beach in Southern California due to being in with walking distance to popular hotels, shops and restaurants.
In the middle of the beach there is the famous land mark, Santa Monica Pier which features an amusement park, aquarium and restaurants visitors can dine in. other attractions which are centrally located on Santa Monica beach are the International Chess Park and Carousel Park. Santa Monica is amazing and one of the best places to live if you would like to work and travel in the USA.
2. Coronado, California
Coronado Central Beach stretches 1.5 miles behind the great houses along Ocean Boulevard. From December through to February those who visit this beach get the chance to whale watch, all other months can be spent swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, sunbathing, playing volleyball and roasting s’mores as the beach has many fire pits.
During periods of low tides Coronado Central Beach has tide pools. Coronado has also been dubbed one of the top beaches for families by Family Vacation Critic.
3. Miami Beach Central, Florida
Florida is known for its constant sunshine and Miami is the perfect place to soak up that sun. Miami Beach Central is the most popular for walking, jogging and even skating as there is an elevated boardwalk. Miami is one of the top destinations in Florida, perfect for relaxing in the sun as you are surrounded by clear blue waters and white sand.
South Beach in Miami is America’s party beach and the most popular, it often attracts a lively crowd who thrive off the energy of the place. North Miami Beach is the family-friendly part of the beach and is often a lot quieter than the southern part. The northern part of Miami Beach has an old fashioned band shell where concerts are usually held.
4. Cape Hatteras National Seashore, North Carolina
In Cape Hatteras National Seashore the shore line stretches for an extensive 72 miles along the Atlantic coast. This beaches hallmark is the high sand dunes and frothy surf perfect for swimming, beachcombing and surfing. Other activities include beach fires, kite flying and just relaxing.
The nation’s tallest lighthouse is resident at Cape Hatteras and visitors are encouraged to climb 257 steps from the ground to balcony level which reaches the top of the lighthouse. It towers at an impressive 196 feet and has an amazing view of the seashore.
5. Kapalua Beach, Hawaii
Kapalua Beach is located on Maui’s north western shore and is picturesque with complete coconut palm trees framing it. It is constantly ranked as the best beach in the world with its teal coloured waters. This beaches water is filled with coral and tropical fish making it the perfect place for snorkelling.
